This & Last

Last weekend Amy and Brandon came and visited us in the Tri-Cities... Since Andy and I have only been here a short time and most of Andy's time has been filled with studying we were unsure of really what to do... but boy did we ever figure out what to do... We went into Pasco and discovered a little bit of Mexico (seriously).  It is so much like stepping out of this country into another there.  We went to a farmer's market and got delicious cherries and then went to a flea market (all of us for the 1st time).  It was definitely interesting...  We also headed down to the river and saw a hydroplane! Apparently hydroplane races are super popular here so Andy and I are excited for the last weekend of July when the big races are here.  We also discovered the medieval festival was going on so we took a walk and saw some of that and just walked along the Columbia.  It was good to see them and we think it's going to be really nice living closer to them and Chris and Melissa.

Before Amy and Brandon came Andy and I went to our first arena football game.  It was quite interesting and pretty fun.  During the song Cotton-Eye Joe ALL the men and boys in the stands had their shirts off and were waving them above their heads...  Yeah it was an interesting game alright.


Well just to let you all know Andy's big board exam is this Monday.  Please pray for him with nerves and anxiousness and just for the test that he can pass and just be done and over with it.  Thanks everyone!
