Loving Our New City

Sorry for the post overload, sometimes I just get into the groove...
So we had a great past weekend and I was talking to my dad on the phone on Sunday and was talking it up.  We have "hot" sunny days that feel amazing because there's NO humidity so you can actually enjoy the sun without sweating buckets.  If you sit in the shade there's a cool breeze and could easily sit without feeling warm at all.  The river is loaded with activity pretty much all the time and is only 5 minutes from our house.  We have a mountain that is about a 10 minute drive that is about a 3 mile hike, perfect for watching sunsets.  And then after a hot ninety or so degree day it cools down at night to like 60 or 70 degrees, perfect for sleeping.  It's also super pretty, even though there's not many trees, there are beautiful skies and landscapes.

We live there! (where the teeny tiny arrow is)

One day I walked into our bedroom and found this.
