So last weekend we went camping and when we got home I noticed that our new neighbors to our left had done the front of their house... "I want to do the front of our house!" So this weekend we did.
So I forgot to take a before picture, so let me describe it to you. Ahem... we had two LARGE hostas plants. Large. Then we had a few flowery/viney plants that Buckley wrapped his leash around and de-rooted. Not the prettiest and not dog friendly.
Ex. of large hostas plants. It looked like this but had the light purple flowers coming from the middle of it.
After. We're not finished. We're going to grow grass in front of the stones and plant three bushes in the rock area. End of story. It will be (& already is) a lot prettier and more dog friendly and more maintenance free. We're thinking Buckley likes to tromp around and I don't want to spend money to encourage his de-rooting and if we are to have a baby soon (no not pregnant) then I'm not going to want to spend time messing with a bunch of flowers and such.

It's not a huge space... So image two huge hostas plants in this little space. |

If you look you can see three "holes" that's where the bushes will go... We're also a little short on rocks... Next month when our "home" funds come back in. |

This is NOT the neighbor I was talking about. This is our right side neighbors. She is an older lady and this is her garden. I never stood a chance with her... |

Oh hello Mr. Dragonfly |
