Yellowstone (& the last of these rambling posts)

So Andy and I also took a day to drive through Yellowstone National Park.  We probably went through all the seasons on this trip.  We started out in shorts and t-shirts a few days before this then on this day we went through the other three.  One of the entrances were closed due to snow! Snow! We drove through snow! Ridiculous for the end of May: I mean come on!  We then went through cooler weather, you know jeans and a sweatshirt (fall). And then the sun came out and it got kinda warm (spring).  (I guess you could switch fall and spring to whatever suits your description of seasons best) My point is we experienced ALL seasons.  When we lived in Idaho last year we went to Yellowstone to cross country ski (Andy ended up going alone... too cold for me) but I had never been when you could actually travel by car inside the park.  It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL.  I so enjoyed this part of the trip and the wildlife was amazing.  We even saw a bear! And that rare fox that I will mention farther down (I don't have a picture, my camera is TOO much of an amateur).  And of course here's the pictures...
B&W: Bison in a field

Just gorgeous landscapes

Beautiful.  Bison are only a river away.

So apparently a very rare fox to be seen was sited and these people with HUGE (I'm talking like ten feet long...) cameras were all over! We had to get a picture of one.

I don't remember the name of this geyser (sp?)

Oh Hello, I'm just one of many bison in Yellowstone who likes to freak out drivers by walking along the side of the road only to come right in front of your car and make traffic stand still for maybe a half to an hour at a time.  Nice to meet you.

See?
