The McG Family: A Day in the Life of Lincoln (as told by Lincoln)

(inspired by Amy & Parker) *By the way this post in no way is me "complaining" the sarcasm is only used to add humor. I love being a SAHM and wouldn't change anything about it. I am so blessed to have this little boy in my life.*

At 5:45 AM I wake up, so I cry and fuss until my momma finally comes in and changes my diaper and feeds me. We do our daily Bible reading and sleepily head back to bed... I mean who gets up at 5:45 in the morning and actually stays awake for the whole day?!?

Hello! At 8:45 AM I wake Daddy up. Then Momma wakes up too. Time to get dressed and fed!

Momma loves her two boys in the morning. Bright eyed and bushy tailed.

Momma cleans up the kitchen and some other parts of the house. She works, I play. Until I get fussy... cause laying down is for babies!

So ma makes me do tummy time...

Which is ultra tiring...

So I just get all comfy and shut my eyes for a bit...

until I cry and Momma picks me up so I can sit or stand... Momma likes watching Live with Kelly and Michael while she eats breakfast. I think it's okay as long as I'm standing or sitting...

Then Ma thinks she should get ready for the day. Don't worry I fuss and whine. I know she should only be paying attention to me.

10:45 AM- Ma changes and feeds me. My brother Buckley knows we're going for a walk when I'm done... So I will take my sweet time and make him work on his patience... (I am the little brother... I'm supposed to annoy my big brother)

I fell asleep.

Not for long! Cause it's walking time!

End of walk. Did you think I'd be sleeping ma? Only while this thing is moving!

You thought I'd be happy when we got home so you could work out? Uh yeah right...

You thought the bouncer and blanket and sucker would do the trick?!? No way!

Now you got it. I'm a big boy- I only sit now.

The best seat to watch you work out in.

12:30 PM I was fed and changed. Momma then showered. (As shown in picture I join her in the bathroom but all the inattention makes me upset) Then she did her hair and makeup.. the nerve.

We travel to the kitchen to make lunch. We then cuddle on the couch. I'm being held=no crying. Momma loves snuggling.

She's so cuddly I fall asleep.

And I take my first nap of the day. 30 minutes.

3:00 PM I wake up get changed and eat. We hang out for a bit on the couch.

Buckley naps while Momma and I are on the computer watching Dr. Oz and Ellen.

We're so happy together.

5:00 I eat again (hey! I'm a growing boy!) Then I nap while Momma watches the news and cleans up a bit. But before long...

Momma's stuck on the couch again... 6:00 feeding cause I didn't fill my tummy enough at 5:00. Buckley joins us this time. *Usually Daddy gets home around this time, but he's working extra hard for us today*

After I'm done Momma folds laundry. And I watch.

Then Momma has to give Buckley his 10th+ dose of attention for the day (extra today cause Daddy is working late) 8:00 I eat again and then get changed.

For fun I hang out in my Tiger Diaper. Cause I look really cute in it. *My butt is really not this big- I promise it's all diaper* Tummy time! I roll over a couple of times too.
