Oh My Oh My Oh 2014 (If you're familiar with kid books...)

This year went fast, this year went slow.  This year was good, this year was bad.  This year was exciting, this year was boring.  This year was the best, this year was the worst.

Haha, okay so this will never be a children's book... I haven't posted since Lincoln turned one, but I figured I should do one more post before we enter into 2015.  It was the year of Lincoln, as usual that's what happens when you have kids right?  All of your accomplishments line up with where your kids are at?  Good thing he's pretty cute.  Some of the biggest news of this year just happened a couple of days ago... Andy and I paid off ALL of his student loans from PT school, so we are officially DEBT FREE and plan to stay that way (of course with the exception of buying a house sometime in the future, we're in no rush).  Crazy!  We got married four and half years ago now and since then we have always had the looming cloud of student loans... Once we moved out to Washington for Andy's job we started chugging away at paying it off... It took two and half years (the same amount of time we've lived in Richland) and it's all paid back and the freedom is unreal.  Honestly we expected a huge gift to fall from the sky or something, but we just popped a bottle of champagne and danced to "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen with Lincoln and Buckley (now Lincoln thinks you 'cheers' every time people drink).

Lincoln started this year as a wee 2 month old baby and now we're ending the year with a rambunctious 14 month old not-so-much-baby, but toddler.  So hard to believe the difference of the two!  One we were so excited if he smiled at us and now he's running around testing limits and flashing his sweet, innocent smile (hard to be mad at someone so cute).  He's definitely his father's son with all his energy and need for movement.  We're still stuck with limited vocab "dada", no "mama"s yet.  His signing is limited too... All signs have merged into the sign for "milk"... He'll get it one of these days.  He's definitively super entertaining and we can't wait to see what he'll do in 2015.

We hope everyone has a great New Year and celebrates safely tonight.  We thank God for all the blessings he's given us this year and can't wait to see what 2015 will bring.

What would a post be without pictures??? So here's what you've missed since my last post in October....
