Lincoln changes every single day and everyday he gets more and more of a personality (we are so in trouble he's so darn cute). This month we did a small family vacation to the Olympic Peninsula and well it had its ups and downs... The first night we stayed in Port Angeles and went to dinner and walked along the shore line there and had a nice relaxing evening. The next day we woke up and drove up to Hurricane Ridge and once again realized the annoyance of having a dog in a national park (they're not allowed anywhere! except where cars are allowed). So we stopped at the top and Andy, Lincoln and I ran into the ranger station to use the restroom and look around. We left the windows open for Buckley and well must have left one a bit too far open... Needless to say he got out (no idea how), ran after a deer, down, down, down the ridge into the tree line, out of sight, was gone for probably a half hour... I thought we lost him forever. Until I spotted him bounding up the side! After that he drank two full water bottles... We got scolded by a lady for leaving him the car... We got scolded by the same lady for him being dehydrated (think it could be the fact that he was just sprinting????)... Got told on to the ranger by said lady... Hopped in the car and headed toward our camping destination... Was so upset and just had a mix of emotions from our time at Hurricane Ridge that we forgot to think about Buckley downing so much water... and he went in our backseat and passenger front seat... Anyways. Once we set up camp it was a fun night, but that day wore us out so we hung out the next day for a little bit and just headed home...
Lincoln at Nine Months
- WALKING! (Not by himself, either holding on to us or with a push walker, but absolutely loves it.
- Saying dada still and not too much more.
- Getting better at eating. Is eating rice cereal and pureed fruits and veggies.
- Becoming more of a mommy's boy than ever... Throwing fits and crawls up to my legs while whining/crying
- Bites! Nursery at church told me that he bit almost all the other babes in nursery...
- Loves cars. Now uses all toys as a push toy (he'll put both hand on a toy and push it all around the house).
- Tooth count is still at 2
- Has an internal clock of 5 am
- Pouts. Pretty much the cutest thing ever...
This is where Buckley ran off
