34 Week Photo & Maternity Pics
Can't believe I'm 35 weeks! Andy and I are starting to get a little anxious about the arrival of our little man! Mostly just that life as we know it is over and a brand new chapter is about to begin. We feel much too young to be starting such a chapter, but we've definitely wanted this for a long time also. It's bittersweet, but mostly sweet. So here's some pictures!

Oh Baby!
We went to Seattle this past weekend for our maternity pictures and for our mail in shower hosted by my sister and sister-in-law. It was a good weekend and awesome to see how many people love our little boy. My cousin Shannon was also in town visiting. Unfortunately I'm not feeling very eloquent today and there's no bump picture from this past week because of our maternity pictures (coming soon- sneak peeks on Facebook until I get the cd which will be in the next few days). Okay here's some pics enjoy!

Big Belly Big Post
Well we're 30 week folks! Hooray! Each week it's becoming much more of a reality. Soon you all won't have to call him Baby Boy McG but his actual name! So this post will be a little long, but a lot has happened in a week.
Baby is doing well - we had an appointment today and everything looks good. I'm doing okay too. It's becoming harder and harder to get comfortable and I have acquired leg pain on my left side. Not really sciatica but maybe a hamstring strain. Mostly hurts at night when I get out of bed to go to the bathroom. I'm weighing in at about 110 (Oh my gosh...) and still have yet to buy maternity clothes (I know... I just can't do it okay?). Braxton Hick Contractions are my new best friend and make my stomach look so strange and make me have to pee all the more... BIG news: We bought a BOB! I emphasize big cause it's a big stroller for sure. Makes Andy's bike look like a toy. I'm excited to use it though and think it will stand up to running with a baby and a crazy dog.
We went on our Babymoon this past week and got back yesterday. It was a lot of fun and VERY tiring... We got to sleep in a lot which was awesome cause I wasn't sleeping very well due to my leg. We went to the Oregon Coast. We started in Newport which ended up kinda being our favorite spot because the beach was amazing there. We had great weather on Wednesday and found a great beach and walked a ways on it and then just sat and watched surfers for a while. We stopped in Lincoln City at the outlet mall and got Andy and Baby some new clothes. Baby Boy got his first button up collared shirt! Then we made our way to the Tillamook Cheese factory. Which was pretty cool, but by then my feet were killing me.
Our next destination was Seaside and so for the next couple of days we explored Cannon Beach, Seaside and Astoria. We did a 2.6 mile hike in Ecola State Park which was very pretty but by the end all I wanted to do was curl up and sleep forever. We went to the Maritime Museum and got to tour a few ships which was fun. And Cape Disappointment turned out to be a disappointment for us because you had to hike a mile to it and I was in no mood or shape to do any more walking...
We also went to Portland and went to the zoo which I miss zoo's greatly, but the walking again was just brutal. We followed the zoo with a nice nap back at the hotel before dinner at Deschutes Brewery where we had a elk burger to relive our days in Idaho. Then yesterday we woke up super late, packed up and headed to Voodoo donuts in which I saw the line and said heck no (Andy's already been there) my feet are done. So we ended our trip with a trip to Ikea and then headed home. Tired. *It was really a fun trip and I did really enjoy it- even though the way I wrote this seems like I didn't* Buckley was very excited to have us back (or it might have been that my body pillow was back so that he could snuggle up to that at night).
One more thing real quick and then some pictures... I updated our loan sheet today and we are BELOW 30,000! Hooray! Now enjoy some pictures.

32 Weeks and the Start of Our Babymoon!
So today marks the beginning of week 32 (sorry no pic yet) and so that brings 8 weeks (give or take) to go! Hooray for meeting baby boy! Last weekend we had Gregg and Teddy (2 friends from PT school) stay with us. So of course the boys packed up and headed out to do some camping and hiking without me... They had a great weekend and we all had a good time catching up. Friday was my last day nannying- it was bittersweet. I'm obviously going to miss them (even though we'll for sure keep in touch and hang out) but super exciting as I start my new career as a stay at home wife & mommy! On Saturday Andy did his first triathlon here in the tri-cities and I was really proud of him and his accomplishment. It was Olympic sized, so about a mile swim, thirty mile bike ride, and 6 mile run (or something like that). He's gearing up to hopefully do a half-ironman (baby and baby momma depending) in late September. I'm gearing up mentally to start running again soon after (yes, not too soon) the baby comes. I found the perfect race that allows dogs and strollers! Ha! What a mess that will be!
Babymoon is starting Tuesday! We will be traveling up the Oregon Coast starting around Newport and heading up to Astoria and then we might head to Portland for a little bit. Pictures and all that to come!
