Maybe the Start of Nesting??

So it's been said that when a woman is expecting a child, she "nests".  Well in my stage of "nesting" I decided to make our bedroom actually match.  So here's what I did (& rats that I forgot to take actual before pictures...).

Baby McG

I haven't really posted about Baby McG so I figured it was about time...

We found out about Baby McG on February 17th, I took a pregnancy test before church and after Andy had left for work.  I was super anxious about looking at it after the 3 minute wait... And there it was: the pink plus sign! AH! I promised Andy to wait to tell him anything until he got home from work so I went to church and was itching with excitement then disbelief... so I came home and took another.  Yup still preggers!

To tell the big news to Andy, I lined up my two pregnancy tests and wrote a big sign saying "You're going to be a daddy!" which he noticed after being home about 15 minutes...

Anyway it was kinda disbelief for a while.  But after 5 positive pregnancy tests, a trip to the doctor, and being SUPER bloated it finally sunk in: WE'RE HAVING A BABY!

We had an ultra sound to see how far along we were and when our due date is (October 27th).  Today I got to hear the baby's heartbeat which is much reassuring.  I feel like I've had a pretty easy pregnancy so far only feeling sick (not nauseous) at nighttime.  I'm reaching numbers on the scale I've never neared before so it's definitely a new experience. =)
Buckley is TOTALLY excited to be a big brother- he pretty much cannot wait! He's already got "bringing a stuffed animal to the baby" and "it's time to wake up from your nap" bark down.  I'm glad Baby will be able to hear soon as to hopefully get used to his noises.  Andy and I can't wait to see how he is with the baby because he's such a big baby himself.
