Christmas Time... was here

Hard to believe it's the last day of 2013!  Before I get all New Years on ya here's what our Christmas looked like and more important what Lincoln's 1st Christmas was like...
We went to Seattle and got to spend Christmas Eve with Cousin Jackson and Cousin Parker!
Obviously thrilled for a cousin photo shoot.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

So hard to believe it's the end of the year already.  Andy and I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  This year has been quite an exciting year especially and obviously with the birth of our little Lincoln.  Looking forward to what 2014 has to offer.  Without further ado, here's our "poor man's" Christmas card... which is not a card just a bunch of pictures. :)

Two Months

That's right folks! Our baby boy is 2 months today! He gets more amazing by the day.
This second month has been crazy... If you didn't hear I got a kidney stone- so I dealt with the pain of that for about a week and a half until the Wednesday before Thanksgiving I had surgery to remove it.  Then for three weeks after that I dealt with discomfort from the stent they had to put in, which thankfully was removed just this past Wednesday. So needless to say this past month has been ultra tiring and mentally draining for me.  Now here's to tapering off Ibuprofen! Haha! On the bright side I'm three pounds above pre-pregnancy weight... HEY! I can't help it...
Along with taking care of my sweet babe and dealing with pain I've kept busy with different things at church like hosting a table at a brunch at our church and planning a Community Group Christmas Party (which is tonight, I'll post pictures of Lincoln in his ugly christmas sweater bib).  Andy's been busy working AND taking care of me and the babe (he's pretty amazing).  Now it's time to focus on him and his back.
Now what you've been waiting for... LINCOLN...

  • His stats at his 1 month appointment 21 in and 9 lb 12 oz! Big old boy and TOO good of an eater
  • He rolled over! at 5 weeks and though for a couple weeks stopped began again about a week ago
  • He LOVES to drool and spit up
  • He LOVES baths
  • He LOVES his changing table?  If he's flat out screaming we'll lay him down to change him and he's perfectly content...? Who likes their diaper changed? (We attribute this fine quality to his Auntie Megan whose picture hangs above the table)
  • SMILES & Babbles
  • He has amazing head and neck control and can sit assisted by the waist
  • He enjoys his play gym, but gets upset if the butterflies stop moving
  • Buckley has a love/hate relationship with him... either greets him with a big old kiss or a big old bark
  • Longest sleep 11-6! But normally likes a 3 am feed
  • Likes his bouncer especially the vibrate feature and will wake up immediately when the vibrate shuts off
  • LOVES his car seat and its sleep lulling features

Here's some (and I mean some- my phone has 100000000+ photos that one day I will get onto the computer and put on here) photos from his second month.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Holding Hands

I like you mom!

What?

Oh okay.

I have you wrapped around my finger...

Cause I'm SO cute!

What do you think about that?

Just Chillin

Just sitting showin off my guns.
Merry Christmas Ya'll! We are doing cheap-o Christmas this year unfortunately... And though I personally hate doing this... Our Christmas card will be posted on here... Having babies and surgeries are pricey (& it doesn't help the government wants all our money too!)!

One Month

So hard to believe it's been one month since our whole world changed with the arrival of our little Lincoln!  We are so overwhelmed and blessed by our baby boy and couldn't be happier (even in spite of fussy crying and interrupted sleep)!  We often catch ourselves just staring at our little boy, amazed by him and of course in awe of his cuteness.  Here's a few cute moments with our boy from his first month...
